About Us

We’re The Carmenattes — a husband and wife team based in the Midwest, offering wedding photography and films rooted in intention, presence, and legacy.

Josh and I met in high school and began dating in college. Along the way, we started documenting our own life on film — the ordinary moments, the milestones, and everything in between. Those photographs and home movies have become some of our most treasured possessions, holding memories in a way nothing else can. That experience shaped how we approach our work and why we do it.

We know firsthand how powerful it is to have your life documented with care. The photographs and films we’ve created of our own story have become a gift we’ll carry for a lifetime — and it’s that same gift we hope to give to the sweet people who choose to work with us.

Long after the music fades and the day passes, your images and films become part of your family’s history. We create with future generations in mind — work meant to be revisited, shared, and passed down.
